At FuzzyMabel, all our policies are based on one goal: your complete satisfaction.
Buying yarn online can be a bit of a leap of faith. Is the color on your screen the actual color of the yarn? What about texture? Gauge? Who are you buying from? When will your order arrive? What if you don't like it?
Your concerns are ours. Below are the policies that we have established—we hope they answer your questions. For general information about FuzzyMabel, you might want to also read our About page.

Privacy:
FuzzyMabel will not give or sell your e-mail address or other personal
information to any third parties.
Ways to order: We created
FuzzyMabel.com to enable you to shop online at anytime. If you prefer,
you may call in your order, email it, or mail it to us.

| Methods
of payment: You may pay by credit card, Paypal, personal check,
or money order in U.S. funds. |
- Credit cards:
We accept American Express, Discover, Mastercard, and Visa.
You may use our online order form or phone in your credit card
information (803-285-8525 or toll-free 1-866-389-9962).
Your credit card will not be billed until your order is ready
to ship.
We bill your credit card in U.S. dollars.
- PayPal:
When you place an order to be paid by PayPal, we
will send you a PayPal invoice once we have reviewed the order;
this method keeps you from paying up front for anything that may
not be ready to ship out immediately.
When you receive the Paypal invoice in your email in box, follow
the instructions to make your payment. The
email is not a receipt, it is a request for payment. You
must follow the payment instructions to complete payment for the
order. Your order will go out as soon as we receive your payment.
- Personal checks and money orders:
We accept personal checks, bank checks, cashier's checks, and
money orders in U.S. dollars only.

Orders purchased by personal check, money order, or cashier's
check will be shipped when the check clears. It can take up to
5 business days (i.e., a week) for clearance confirmation from
your institution.
Bank checks (guaranteed fund checks) are not subject to this delay.
We must charge $35.00 for all returned checks. Your bank may also
assess a fee.
At this time, we cannot accept orders COD.
Do not send cash. We will not accept cash by mail or any other
delivery method.

Taxes:
We must charge 8% state sales tax to orders shipped in the State
of South Carolina. No other orders are subject to sales tax.
Shipping:
Most orders are shipped out within one to two business days if all
items are in stock. Orders are shipped out Monday through Friday each
week.
If part of your order is out of stock, we may ship out a partial order
right away or hold the order until all items are ready. If we are
holding your order, we will notify you via e-mail.
Since many of our yarns are hand-dyed to order or come to us from overseas, expect most items that are not currently in stock to arrive here within one to four weeks of your order. We try to alert you to exceptions on the detail page for that item. Backordered items are shipped out within one business day of arrival.
Some items, especially hand-dyed yarns, may be shipped to you directly from the manufacturer.
FuzzyMabel prefers to ship via the United
States Post Office. For orders within the U.S. and to APO/FPO addresses,
we ship via Priority Mail (except orders that qualify for $2.50 shipping).
Orders to Canada will ship via International First Class Mail unless
you request a different method (surcharges may apply).
Our standard shipping rates for addresses within the United States,
Canada, and APO/FPO addresses are based on the total of your order

are billed at actual shipping rates. Free shipping not applicable
to international orders. Class registration fees and gift certificates
not included in subtotal towards free shipping.
**Standard shipping method for Canadian orders is International First Class. Upgrades to International Priority Mail are available upon request
for Canadian orders. A surcharge will apply to upgrades to reflect
the actual cost of international Priority shipping if an upgrade
is requested. |

Please note that these rates apply to merchandise only.
Class registration fees, taxes, and gift certificates are not included
in the merchandise total upon which shipping is based.
If you prefer your order be shipped via UPS, your shipping and handling
charge will be the cost of shipping plus $1 to cover the additional
time and supplies required. You can request UPS delivery by noting
your preference in the comments box at check-out.
For faster service, U.S. customers can request Express Mail delivery
and Canadian customers can request International Priority Mail or
Global Express delivery options. You will be charged the actual shipping
cost for these services regardless of the standard shipping rate
noted
on your order confirmation form. The minimum surcharge
for Express Mail is $18.00. You can request expidited services by
noting your preference in the comments box at check-out.
For all other international orders, we will contact you with a list of shipping price/timeframe options. We will ship out your order via the option you choose after we hear from you, and you will be charged the actual shipping cost for the service you choose regardless of the standard shipping rate noted on your order confirmation form.
Returns:
You may return any regularly-priced yarn purchased from FuzzyMabel
as long as the item is returned to us unused and in the original
condition/packaging
under the following terms:
within 30 days of purchase: exchange, credit, or 100% refund
after 30 days of purchase: exchange or store credit
only.
Refunds to credit cards can only be issued to the card with which
the order was originally placed.
Refund price does not include any shipping charges unless refund is
due to our error.
Patterns, books, needles, and clearance items are
not returnable for credit, exchange, or refund.
Yarns that have been wound off the skein, have been exposed to contaminants
such as cigarette smoke or animal dander, or are not in original condition
are not returnable for credit, exchange, or refund.
Discounts and Special Offers:
If you purchased a returnable item at a discount and wish to return or exchange it, you will be credited the price that you paid for it, regardless of the current listed price for that item.
Fuzzy Dozen bonus skeins cannot be returned for credit, exchange, or refund.
Clearance items cannot be returned for credit, exchange, or refund.
Prices: All prices on this site are in U.S. dollars.
Every now and then we must update our prices to reflect product cost changes when they occur. All prices on this site are subject to change without notice.
FuzzyMabel does not bill you until your order ships out. If the price for an item you have ordered changes between the time that you have placed your order ("order date") and when it ships ("shipping date"), you will be billed the lower price within the following guidelines:
- If an item's price increases after your order date but before the shipping date, you will be billed the order date price.
For orders placed though our online checkout process, the order date is the date that you submit your order (i.e., the date on your order confirmation e-mail).
For orders placed by fax or e-mail, the order date is the date that you send your order--i.e., the fax transmission date or e-mail message date.
For orders placed by mail, the order date is the date postmarked on your order correspondence.
- If an item's price decreases after your order date but before the shipping date, you will be billed the shipping date price.
For orders paid by credit card, your total will be amended to reflect the shipping date price and we will notify you of the correction.
For orders paid by check or money order, we will notify you that you have been issued a credit and give you the option to request a refund if you prefer.
Errors: We make every effort to maintain current and accurate prices and product information, including consistency between prices listed on item descriptions and those generated by the shopping cart. However, on rare occasion, there may be errors or discrepancies found on some pages.
Please review your order carefully before completing an order submission. If you notice a discrepancy between the price stated on a product description page and the shopping cart, please let us know before you complete your checkout so that we can resolve the issue with you.
If we notice a pricing error after you have placed your order, we will use the following guidelines:
- If you have ordered an item at an incorrect price that is lower than the correct price, we will notify you of the error and give you the option of purchasing the item at the correct price, deleting the item from your order, or cancelling the entire order.
- If you have ordered an item at an incorrect price that is higher than the correct price, you will be billed the correct price.
For orders paid by credit card, your total will be amended to reflect the correct price and we will notify you of the correction.
For orders paid by check or money order, we will notify you that you have been issued a credit and give you the option to request a refund if you prefer.
While we will always work in good faith with you, FuzzyMabel reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order for an item listed at an incorrect price due to technical or typographic error.
