Knitting
101 --three 1 1/2 hour sessions/$35 plus materials
“I want to learn how to knit!”
Come on down. Our teachers will teach you all the core techniques
you need to get rolling—cast on, knit stitch, purl stitch, increasing,
decreasing, and binding off, as well as tips, tricks, and fun along
the way. Several different classes are available to help you find
a time and day that works for you.
Class A: Wednesday afternoons,
June 4th, 11th, and 18th, 1:00-2:30 p.m.
Class B: Saturday afternoons,
June 7th, 14th, and 28th, 1:30-3:00 p.m.
Class C: Wednesday afternoons,
July 2nd, 9th, and 16th, 1:00-2:30 p.m. |

Crochet
101 —three 2 hour sessions, $35 plus materials
Whether you are starting from scratch or just haven't picked
up a hook in a while, this course will take you through all the basics
you need to get going with crochet. Class limit of 10 students.
Saturdays, July 19thand 26th & August 2, 1:00-3:00 p.m. |

Oops! Common Mistakes and
How to Fix Them—one 2 hour session, $15
Dunno what you did, but it doesn't look right? Maybe you DO know what
you did but can't figure out how to fix it. We'll show you the most
common goof-up, what they look like, how they happen, and—most
importantly—how to fix them.

Felted
Casserole Cozie—four 1 ½-hour sessions: $50 plus
materials
skill level: advanced beginner
Do you take hot dishes to potluck picnics over the summer? This carrier
is perfect to transport hot items and sized to fit a variety of bakeware.
Knit it up quickly on large needles while learning about knitting
in the round and felting.
Saturdays, June 28th & July 5th, 12th and 19th, 10:00-11:30 a.m. |
My
First Garment: Summer Sweater Vest—three 2 hour sessions:
$40 plus materials
skill level: beginner+
This class teaches you the foundation for creating knitted garments,
including sizing, reading a pattern, increases and decreases, buttonholes,
and finishing techniques, all while creating a flattering, very wearable
summer vest.
Saturdays, June 14th and 28th & July 12th, 10:30a.m.-12:30 p.m. |
Pick-a-Project—four
1 ½-hour sessions: $50 plus materials
Select a project that you would like to make, but need a little help
with and our teacher will help you confirm that it suits your skill
set and guide you through the ins and outs from yarn selection to
reading the pattern to finessing that part of the pattern that just
doesn’t make sense. It’s also fun to watch how each student’s
project takes shape.
Saturdays, June 28th & July 5th, 12th and 19th, noon-1:30 p.m. |
